My name is Carmen Bilbao. I am an Optometrist, and I love my work. I primarily focus on providing training, both through the College of Optometrists and other institutions and postgraduate schools. My favorite topic is Visual Therapy, especially Binocular Vision. I’m passionate about Strabismus and Sports Vision. Additionally, I have a clinic at Policlínica Alto Aragón, where our multidisciplinary team assists children with various challenges.

Vassilis Kokotas is an Optometrist and professional consultant in Greece. As the owner of since December 2016, he has accumulated over 22 years of experience in the field. His background includes work at Bairamoglou S.A., where he specialized in Optometry. Additionally, he served as a supervising professor at New York College from March 2012 to June 2014. Kokotas has also worked as an Optometrist at Karakassis Optics. He holds a Doctorate in Optometry from Aston University (2009-2016) and an equivalent BSc degree in Optics and Optometry from the Instituto Regionale di Studi di Ottica e Optometria (IRSOO) in Italy (1992-1995).

Her professional focus centers on Neurodevelopment and Psychology, where she applies her knowledge to promote the well-being of her patients. Elena Fraga Pumar is an Optometrist with a notable background in Low Vision and Visual Rehabilitation. Since April 2022, she has been leading the Low Vision unit at Clínica DCEO and Clínica Luzenti in Galicia. Previously, she worked as a Clinical Optometrist in La Coruña and at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, where she also coordinated the Neuro-Ophthalmology laboratory. Elena has specialized in Ocular Pathology and Geriatric Optometry at the Universidad a distancia de Madrid and completed a Master’s in Clinical Trials Monitoring at the Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, she has accumulated experience as a Contact Lens specialist and has conducted numerous courses related to Optometry and Low Vision, establishing herself as a dedicated and comprehensive professional in her field.

As an Audiologist with extensive training and experience, I hold a degree in Audiology, specializing in Pediatric Audiology and Vestibulogy. Additionally, I am a Certified Audiological Prosthetist and have completed two master’s programs in Audiology and Balance, as well as Clinical Audiology. Since 2021, I have been working at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, focusing on Clinical and Pediatric Audiology. I also serve as a lecturer at Alfonso X el Sabio University and the Widex School. In my role as the head of the Prosthetic Audiology team at Quirón University Hospital, I conduct Vestibular Testing and Auditory Rehabilitation. He has been actively involved since 2007 at the University Hospital of La Ribera, and he also served as a professor at the Catholic University of Valencia between 2010 and 2012. Previously, he served as the technical director at Amplifon, and currently, he is a professor at IES Albasit and co-director of ‘Los Llanos.’ Luis has actively participated in conferences and contributed to curriculum development in Audiology, demonstrating his strong commitment to Education and Auditory Health.

Rebeca is a distinguished graduate of the Mexican Institute of Hearing and Language (IMAL), specialising in Hearing, Speech, Oral and Written Language Therapy. With a diploma in Art Therapy and studies in Music Therapy, she has focused her career on helping deaf and hard of hearing children. At IMAL, Rebeca has been a teacher, supervisor, coordinator and teaching director. At university level, she has taught subjects related to deaf education and Music Therapy. Vicente Fernández Sánchez, is an outstanding professional in the field of Pharmacy, Optics and Optometry. He also directed the implementation of Optics studies in the Republic of Mozambique. Belén is a committed Speech Therapist who has been working at the ANEM Centre since 2021. She is an expert in conducting interviews, assessments and creating reports and personalised intervention plans. She holds a degree in Speech Therapy from the Catholic University of Valencia and completed her Bachillerato at IES Lluís Vives in Valencia.
